Hi Nancy, I see you have lots of my friends in your network. Thanks for inviting me too. This is where I always offer up a new friend one of my poems. let me pop out and grab you one:

God Gave A Friend To Me

God gave a real fine friend to me
One who guides me when I can’t see
One who knows what makes me cry
One who understands how hard I try
A friend whose beauty is more than skin deep
In whose heart, my cares she willfully keeps
One who is there when I often fall
And waits patiently for me to call
One who knows of my past wrong deeds
A friend willing to walk through fires with me
A friend that I sense will always be true
God gave me a friend – and that friend is You

God has given a special friend to you
To be there for company and comfort too
To be there to care, so you won’t be alone
Through all your troubles and to help you atone
A friend who understands just where you’re coming from
To offer his kindness, his heart and his love
To walk with you through a driving rain
To laugh with you during trials and pain
A friend who will help heal your wounds and hurts
To give from his back, his very shirt
To help you find port from a stormy sea
God has given you a friend, that friend is Me.
